We hate rules too, but we must have a few to ensure your packages arrive safe & sound. Please read carefully….

Shipping:

~Monday through Thursday, all orders received by 12:00 pm EST will be shipped the following business day. Orders received after 12:00 pm EST will be shipped in 2 business days. Saturday and Sunday are not considered business days.  ***Exceptions include all orders in the month of December as well as any order exceeding ten boxes. Please allow an additional 24 hours processing time for such orders.

~UPS does not consider Saturday or Sunday a business day. If you require Saturday delivery, please call us to make arrangements.

~One day, people all over the world will be able to experience One Girl Cookies, but for the time being, we do not ship internationally

~UPS is our preferred carrier; we are unable to use Fedex or USPS

~Please check, and double check, all delivery addresses that you provide. UPS requires exact information. Customers are responsible for any charges incurred as a result of errors made in shipping due to incorrect/incomplete addresses. Charges include additional shipping/delivery charges, as well as the cost of replacement cookies in order to ensure the arrival of a fresh product.

~ Shipping prices for cookies are for orders of up to three boxes. Additional charges apply for larger orders.

~Depending on the destination, UPS standard arrives 1-3 business days after we ship it out (UPS does not consider Saturday or Sunday a business day). If you require a quicker arrival or need guaranteed arrival by a certain date, please select either 2 day or overnight shipping.

~Some of the girls don’t do well in intense heat. During summer months, all deliveries to warmer climates in Zones 3 and 4 (see UPS map) will be sent out on Monday and Tuesday only and must be sent either 2 day or overnight (we want to avoid your cookies sitting in a warehouse over the weekend). We also recommend that you check to be sure that someone will be present to receive the package so it does not sit outside for an extended period of time.

~We do not typically ship on Fridays in order to avoid your cookies sitting in a warehouse over the weekend. If a timely arrival would require your sweets to be shipped on Friday, please let us know in the delivery instructions.

Delivery in NYC:

~Our delivery zone includes all areas in Manhattan south of 100th St as well as certain areas of Brooklyn (Cobble Hill, Boerum Hill, Red Hook, Carroll Gardens, Park Slope, Ft Greene, Brooklyn Heights, Prospect Heights, & DUMBO). Deliveries to all other locations are sent via UPS.

~We hand-deliver packages on Monday-Friday between the hours of 11am-2pm. We cannot guarantee specific delivery times within that window.  If you require your sweets to be delivered on the weekend or during a different timeframe during the week, please contact us; additional delivery charges will apply.

~Our goal is to hand-deliver all packages located in our delivery zone; however, on occasion, we will ship packages instead due to severe security restrictions at certain office buildings or known difficulties delivering to other locations.

~As much as we’d love to get your gifts out in a NY minute, we make everything to order; therefore, we cannot accommodate any same day orders.

~We encourage you whenever possible to send OGC gifts to NYC addresses with a doorman or to a business address. For buildings without a doorman, a phone number for the recipient is required; we will call ahead to be sure that someone will be home to accept the package. We will make one delivery attempt and do our very best to get your gift into the hands of the recipient, but we cannot guarantee delivery. If the recipient has indicated that they will be home, but they are not there to accept delivery, we will not leave the package unattended at the door. If the package is undeliverable on the first attempt and we must return a second time, or if the recipient requests the delivery be made to an alternate address, the sender will be charged a second delivery fee. If you would prefer us to ship a package to a Manhattan or Brooklyn address via UPS, please let us know in the delivery instructions.

We do our very best to get every package to its intended recipient by the date promised. Unfortunately, there are occasional occurrences that are beyond our control that prevent that from happening. We hope you understand.
